The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, February 9 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) he’s won.
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will already be in LA. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will brainstorm. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will ask for Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) help.
Y&R spoilers tease Claire will admit to Holden one of the reasons she’s in LA is because of Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). But she’ll catch herself. “What I meant was it’ll be nice to get away from Audra,” she’ll add. “I want a lighter and cleaner experience this time, and I want that with you.”
Holden will say he needs to get to a meeting first, but he won’t tell her with who. “Why does everything have to be such a big secret with you?” Claire will ask. So, Holden will admit that Cane’s family has gone missing and he’s in LA to oversee the search for them.

Claire will ask who Cane thinks took them and she’ll realize it could be Victor. Holden will leave and seconds later Claire will get a call from the art gallery. She’ll get the name of the owner and ask how she can get in touch with him and she too will leave.
As for Holden, he’ll call Cane and say the PI he hired found security footage of his family being led away from a hotel in a black SUV. “They looked scared,” he’ll add. Claire will return and ask about Cane’s family. Holden will say they were abducted but he doesn’t think Victor did it. He’ll grab her hand and they’ll talk about how much fun they’re going to have in LA this time.
At Society, Victoria will ask Nick how he’s feeling. He’ll say he’s better and just got a refill on his pain meds. Victoria will tell him to be careful with those. Talk will turn to Cane and Adam will say he’s running hot. “Any chance of reclaiming Newman Enterprises is hanging by a thread,” Victoria will reply.
She’ll say she’s put together a plan that could work. They need to nail Phyllis about the AI program. They’ll discuss Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Adam will say Victor must have offered her something she wants, specifically Chancellor. Victoria will admit if that’s true it would break her mother’s heart.
Meanwhile, Billy will show up at Newman Enterprises and he and Phyllis will trade barbs. Cane will arrive and say there’s been a change of plans. Billy will ask if he’s pulling out of their deal. “Oh God, I hope so!” Phyllis will quip.
Cane will tell Billy nothing’s changed, there’s just been a bump in the road. When Billy pushes back, Phyllis will tell him to get out. But Billy will ignore her and ask if the deal is still going to happen. Then Cane will receive a photo of his family from Victor and he’ll tell Billy to leave and he’ll storm away.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Phyllis Says They Need To Act So Fast
Phyllis will ask Cane what’s happening. “The threat was real, Victor has Lily and the twins,” he’ll reply. She’ll look at the photo and say there’s no way Victor is going to harm them. “Call his bluff, tell him to go to hell!” Phyllis will add. She’ll ask him if he’s going to cave to Victor’s demands and throw it all away.
A panicky Phyllis will end up walking into Billy’s apartment and he’ll tell her to scram. “Cane is folding, like a cheap tent,” she’ll say. “Which means you can kiss Chancellor goodbye.” She’ll tell him they can stop it, but she needs his help. “We have to act fast, we have to act so fast.”
At the ranch, Victor will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) he thinks Cane will make a deal by the end of the day. “If you’re so certain, why hasn’t he done it already?” she’ll reply. Victor will say he wants proof that Lily and the kids haven’t been harmed. He’ll receive a photo, show it to Nikki and tell her he sent it to Cane
Then he’ll summon Victoria, Nick and Adam to the ranch. Victor will say he thinks Cane will make a deal and he’ll show them the photo. Adam will ask Victor what he offered Lily, to get him to go along with it. He’ll say they’ll find out in due time.
Finally, Cane will storm into the ranch. “You son of a bitch!” he’ll shout. Victor will say he made him a proposal but hasn’t heard his response. “You win,” Cane will reply. “Show me proof that Lily and the twins are safe and have been released and you can have your company back.”
